The Open Sources as a tool for KB creation.
Working for a long time (since 1985) on ICT-Based Teaching and Learning, the coming up of LMS CMS and LCMS Open Sources excites me so with the ways they give us to join the KM world. The creation of knowledgebase on Foreign Language Learning and many other contents in Curriculum and Instruction domain becomes from now on something possible and legitime in our hands. Making a big jumping from sophisticated webpage creation to a simple website creation using the Open Sources like Mambo - Caroline - Moodle etc. will completely change our vision on contents, activities and web resources gathering. Not only to make a more perfectly manageable but also a modifiable knowledgebase as being always dreamt of our programmers.
The exciting appreciation is upon the fact that nearly all creation and design can be in our hands, the simple users of the ICT.
